I’m going home . . .

July 18, 2008

Sitting in Penesecola Airport waiting to fly to Houston and then on to Pittsburgh. This passed week has been phenomenal. God really used this time to allow me to slow down and hear from Him. The students Andrew and I worked with were truly amazing. They were so attentive to the message. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed preaching to students. This is the first time I have spoke to students since I left Glen Rose Student Ministry to pursue planting a church in WAPA. I forgot how much I really enjoy it. We had 56 students total. Two students accepted Christ with a ton of students making a committment to baptism. I thank God for allowing me to be part of this beach camp. The weather was great, Andrew also did an awesome job leading worship. I enjoyed worshipping God with the students. They also each gave to help Life Point. They gave us a ton of $$. I was truly humbled by their genersity.

I am definitely ready to go home.  I miss my beautiful children and lovely wife. I am ready to  jump back into the process of planting a church in Washington. Here are some pics from the week.

I am so jealous of your “Beach Time”! Glad things went well. Also, glad to hear of two more people accepting Christ as Savior! PTL!
