Snow Running

January 8, 2009

I received new Under Armor running gear this year for Christmas. This is probably the gift I have used more than any other since I began celebrating Christmas 32 years ago. I started running outside on Christmas day and haven’t looked back. I ran this morning and it was 25 degrees with a wind shield of 15, but it felt great. Running in the snow is always cool. It reminds me of skiing, but only slower. UA stuff really works. A friend of mine let me know about a cool new google sight called gmaps padometer that lets you put in your route to see how far you’ve ran. All you runners check it out here. I put my route in today and ran 3.5837 miles in 29:34 minutes. I think I prefer running in the cold. If you aren’t doing something to get  in shape, start running outside. It’s cheap excercise. We can’t use the excuse anymore that it’s too cold. UA gear has us covered.
